Overview:

\n

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for a Software Engineer for a full-time opportunity in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET, modern JavaScript, and full-stack application development. This position will be 60% backend, 40% frontend.

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

This is a hands-on, full-stack development role focused on designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting business-critical web applications and cloud-based solutions. The position involves enhancing existing applications, developing new functionality, integrating systems, and improving overall application performance and user experience.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.

\n

• Develop and enhance front-end applications using Vue.js, React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.

\n

• Build, maintain, and support applications hosted within Microsoft Azure.

\n

• Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs, web services, and third-party applications.

\n

• Support and modernize existing .NET applications, including legacy systems and Windows/IIS environments.

\n

• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement software solutions.

\n

• Enhance application functionality, usability, performance, and reliability.

\n

• Participate in application modernization, system integration, and cloud migration initiatives.

\n

• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize existing code, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 3–5+ years of professional software development experience.

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.

\n

• Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, Razor, or MVC.

\n

• Experience developing and maintaining APIs, web services, and system integrations.

\n

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

\n

• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.

\n

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
