About the Role:
We are supporting a direct-hire opportunity for a mission-driven organization that develops and delivers advanced defense systems. This position offers the chance to work on critical programs supporting national security. The Systems Integration Engineer will lead and support end-to-end system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting across classified and unclassified environments.Responsibilities:
- Perform integration and test activities for complex defense and security systems
- Interface with engineering teams across hardware, software, and systems disciplines
- Develop and execute system-level test plans and procedures
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in lab and field environments
- Support verification, validation, and documentation efforts for system readiness
- Ensure compliance with DoD and internal security protocols
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance (T5 Investigation)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration or systems engineering
- Experience working on defense programs in a classified setting
- Proficiency in system testing, analysis, and lab-based troubleshooting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with C4ISR systems, radar, missile defense, or tactical networks
- Exposure to Agile development environments and DevSecOps tools
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
