We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager in the Thousand Oaks area to support execution of large plumbing and piping construction projects for a mechanical contractor.
Impact
- Keep information flowing so field crews stay productive.
- Maintain project controls that keep projects profitable.
- Support high-quality builds and strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing, procurement, subcontracts, and submittals.
- Monitor onsite progress with superintendents.
- Manage subcontractor proposal requests and issue purchase orders.
- Support safety programs and jobsite reviews.
- Facilitate closeouts and keep correspondence documented.
Must-Haves
- Engineering or construction experience on plumbing, piping, or mechanical projects.
- Organized document control and procurement habits.
- Ability to work in the office and on active construction sites, with routine driving to projects.
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Experience with Procore or similar tools.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Based in the Thousand Oaks area, split between office and field.
