Director, Information Technology

As the Director, Information Technology, you’ll lead the IT team development, strategic alignment of technology with business goals, ensuring the right systems, applications, and support are in place to drive performance. Acting as a collaborative partner across the organization, you’ll champion innovative solutions and oversee the company’s IT security posture—safeguarding data, managing risk, and maintaining resilient infrastructure in the face of evolving cyber threats.
What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:
- Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing, performance and development goal-oriented work environment.
- Develop and execute departmental technology strategies that align with broader organizational goals and business needs.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure system availability, stability, and performance across the organization.
- Lead the design, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage the implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity program to protect organizational and customer data.
- Create and execute user training programs to improve digital literacy, security awareness, and operational effectiveness; track and evaluate outcomes.
- Establish and report on key performance indicators for IT projects and services; work closely with other departments to prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Gain and apply a deep understanding of the organization’s core processes, revenue streams, and cost drivers to inform IT decisions.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions that differentiate the ability of selling teams to effectively communicate with our customers with timely, accurate and actionable information.
- Manage the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle of IT assets and systems, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies that enhance departmental or organizational effectiveness; lead proof-of-concept efforts.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business to support collaborative project planning and execution.
- Ensure software and system solutions are thoroughly tested and meet the needs of internal users.
- Equip the IT team with the necessary tools, resources, and training for continued success and skill development.
- Continuously assess and improve IT processes to support business efficiency and innovation.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
- Carry out additional responsibilities consistent with departmental leadership as assigned.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in people leadership
- 5+ years of experience in Application Development
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management

Education:
- BS or Master of Science in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
