Job Summary
The IT Specialist provides hands-on technical support and assists with daily technology operations across Bryan Construction. The role focuses on supporting employees with common technology issues, preparing and deploying company devices, coordinating routine vendor interactions, maintaining accurate technology inventories, and ensuring a consistent and reliable user experience. This position reports to the IT Director and supports the day-to-day execution of Bryan Construction’s technology program. The role works directly with employees, MSP, and other technology partners to coordinate service requests, prepare and maintain company devices, assist with technology procurement, and provide onsite support across Bryan Construction locations.

- Provide dependable day‑to‑day technology support by troubleshooting common issues related to computers, mobile devices, connectivity, software, peripherals, and access needs.
- Support established IT service processes by monitoring support requests, coordinating follow‑up, and assisting with onsite troubleshooting to help accelerate resolution.
- Collaborate with MSP and other technology partners to provide context, communicate business impact and urgency, coordinate onsite/remote support, and ensure smooth resolution of employee technology needs.
- Prepare, configure, deploy, reimage, and retire company computers and devices according to established standards, ensuring consistent and reliable endpoint setup.
- Assist with workstation hardware replacement, peripheral setup, and coordination of warranty service, repairs, and equipment returns.
- Maintain accurate technology inventory records for laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and related peripherals, supporting device lifecycle planning and reporting needs.
- Coordinate routine technology purchasing by gathering quotes, processing approved orders, receiving equipment, and preparing devices for deployment using approved vendors and standards.
- Provide onsite IT support across multiple Bryan Construction offices and project sites, assisting with setup needs, connectivity troubleshooting, device deployment, and practical field-based support.
- Follow all cybersecurity requirements and technology standards, including Microsoft GCC and CMMC procedures, ensuring secure handling of devices, accounts, and confidential information.
- Maintain documentation for support procedures, device configuration steps, equipment assignments, common issues, and employee-facing instructions to support consistent IT operations.
- Participate in technology projects by assisting with deployment, testing, inventory updates, coordination, documentation, and user impact communication.
- Identify recurring support issues, technology gaps, or process concerns and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and the day‑to‑day employee technology experience.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, working inside with others or independently. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule during regular business hours. Ability to travel to multiple locations or job sites daily or weekly as needed. Work may require occasional weekend and evening work.
Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience providing end-user support, desktop support, or IT operations experience
- Experience supporting Windows-based business environment
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2+ years of end-user support, desktop support, or IT operations experience
- Experience supporting multiple offices or field locations
- Experience partnering with a managed service provider or external technology vendor
- Experience with device deployment, inventory management, or technology purchasing
- Technology certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
**Drug Screening and Background Investigation Required**
Salary Range: $73,000-$91,000
