(TACI) is a national telecommunications, broadband infrastructure, and digital infrastructure services provider supporting fiber optic networks, OSP construction, ISP deployments, utility construction, and mission-critical infrastructure projects throughout the United States.We are seeking experienced Aerial Linemen to support fiber optic construction, network upgrades, maintenance, and emergency restoration projects in the Madera, California area.Position OverviewThe Aerial Lineman is responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and restoring aerial telecommunications infrastructure. This position performs hands-on OSP construction involving fiber optic cable, strand, utility poles, anchors, guy wires, and related telecommunications infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, lash, repair, replace, and maintain aerial fiber optic and telecommunications cable.Perform strand replacement, pole transfers, cable replacement, down-guy and anchor installation.Support new fiber construction, network rebuilds, aerial-to-underground conversions, and emergency restoration.Read and follow construction prints, engineering drawings, utility maps, work orders, and specifications.Complete required production reports, as-built documentation, and project records.Equipment & Field OperationsOperate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, hydraulic diggers, compressors, and cable-placement equipment.Climb utility poles and safely perform aerial work at heights.Set poles, install anchors, pull cable, string wire, and install telecommunications hardware.Properly use hand tools, power tools, PPE, and construction equipment.Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and assigned work areas.Required QualificationsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Experience in telecommunications, aerial construction, OSP, fiber optic, or utility construction preferred.Ability to safely work from bucket trucks and at heights.Ability to read construction prints, work orders, engineering drawings, and utility maps.Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of aerial telecommunications, fiber optic, or utility construction experience.Experience with aerial fiber installation, lashing, strand, pole transfers, and cable placement.CDL license and/or experience operating commercial construction vehicles.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.Physical & Schedule RequirementsAbility to work 10-hour shifts, 5-6 days per week, including overtime when required.Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, dust, and other field conditions.Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, bend, stand, and work at heights throughout the workday.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and heavier materials with assistance.Availability for weekends, nights, emergency restoration, and on-call assignments when required.Why Join TACI?Competitive W2 pay of $22.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience.Medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).Overtime and opportunities to work on major broadband and fiber infrastructure projects.Ongoing safety, technical training, and career development.Advancement opportunities into Lead, Foreman, Supervisor, and Field Leadership positions.Apply Today
