About the Role

A leading manufacturer of intelligent building and HVAC technologies is seeking a Development Engineer Software to support the development of embedded software for next-generation control devices used in data center environments. This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, working closely with global engineering teams to develop secure, reliable, and high-performance embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Support the development and implementation of embedded software projects for HVAC devices used in data center environments.
  • \n

  • Design and implement software that adheres to advanced security standards, including OCP (Open Compute Project) guidelines.
  • \n

  • Integrate and manage data center-specific communication protocols, with a focus on the Redfish REST API.
  • \n

  • Collaborate closely with other domains (I&V, Sensing, Hardware) to ensure system requirements are met.
  • \n

  • Translate system requirements into coherent software architecture and actionable technical tasks.
  • \n

  • Ensure the seamless integration of features from underlying embedded platforms (RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).
  • \n

Qualifications & Requirements

\n

    \n
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • \n

  • 3+ years of technical experience leading software development projects for embedded systems.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure and management protocols, like REST APIs.
  • \n

\n
