What the hiring is really looking for:
\n
\n
• Strong Project/Program Manager first — NOT a deeply technical engineer.
\n
The PM/project experience is the priority.
\n
• Ideally someone who has worked on large-scale hardware refresh, network deployment, network integration, infrastructure, or IT change projects.
\n
• Experience managing large, complex, multi-phase projects with significant numbers of endpoints/devices is important.
\n
• Must be comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment where cutovers have to work immediately.
\n
• Needs strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills — working across networking, patching, fiber, vendors, program managers, facilities, etc.
\n
• Must be hands-on and willing to get out from behind the spreadsheet.
\n
\n
This person needs to walk floors, physically validate equipment/endpoints, perform discovery, count devices, check information, and make sure things are actually ready.
\n
• Technical knowledge should be basic-to-moderate, not advanced engineering. They should understand basic networking concepts and be able to troubleshoot at a basic level:
\n
• Is the device on the network?
\n
• Does it have power?
\n
• Are there lights?
\n
• Is it connected properly?
\n
• Can they identify when something needs to be escalated to the appropriate technical team?
\n
\n
• They do NOT need deep networking expertise, protocol knowledge, Wireshark, or advanced engineering skills.
\n
• Hands-on technical work is roughly one day/week, primarily around Saturday cutovers. The other four days are heavily focused on PM, planning, discovery, coordination, organization, and execution.
\n
• Saturday onsite cutover work is mandatory. This is not a remote PM role.
\n
• Candidate needs to be comfortable being onsite in the Manhattan/Westchester environment and physically involved with the project.
\n
• Looking for someone who is autonomous, accountable, proactive, and willing to own the outcome, rather than someone who simply manages a task list.
\n

Position Overview
\n
\n
New York based Integration manager reports to the Multimedia Infrastructure team lead based in London.
\n
Responsible for the delivery of Audio Visual, Videoconferencing and Multimedia systems network migrations across North America
\n
\n
Must be capable of handling simultaneous projects that will vary from a small number of large New York campus or regional/branch office projects up to multiple smaller projects across the North American branches.
\n
\n
Scope
\n
\n
The role is to provide program management and hands on support for the Multimedia team during network migration of devices onto a new IoT based network design. The rolling project will move building by building, floor by floor with planned cutover events most weekends throughout the year. Onsite work will be centered around physical audits and site attendance for all cutover events which will occur on most Saturdays throughout the year.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
\n
\n
Multimedia integration project team duties
\n
\n
· Attend all internal, local and global, Multimedia project team meetings
\n
· Maintain internal, local and global, project tracker and status reports
\n
· Provide project pipeline reports for budgeting etc
\n
· Maintain project cost reports
\n
· Attend Multimedia department, local and global, team meetings where requested / appropriate
\n
\n
\n
Integration Project Delivery
\n
\n
Oversee and direct all phases of integration project delivery to Multimedia global standards and processes including;
\n
\n
· Business unit engagement and gathering client requirements
\n
· Providing internal client recommendations & quotations
\n
· Budgeting
\n
· Project scheduling
\n
· Resource planning
\n
· Solution & design engineering (part of an internal team in partnership with EUC engineering)
\n
· Consultant selection, engagement and management
\n
· Consultant RFP production
\n
· Installation vendor engagement and management
\n
· Cost control & reporting
\n
· Vendor quality control
\n
· Change order review and approval
\n
· System commissioning and handover
\n
· TCM turnovers (where relevant)
\n
· Partner with all allied teams engaged within the project.
\n
· Partner with Multimedia Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to ensure consistency with the firm’s operational / support / infrastructure & technical requirements.
\n
· Monitor project performance, ensuring that variances and issues are understood and properly addressed
\n
· Troubleshoot and provide direction/solutions during design and implementation
\n
· Mitigate project risks
\n
· Manage internal client expectations
\n
· Review vendor invoices.
\n
· Arrange, coordinate and manage project vendor meetings, agenda’s, minutes, snag lists etc etc
\n
· Attend all necessary internal governance and infrastructure program meetings
\n
· Maintain all project documentation following Multimedia standard processes
\n
· Archive project documentation for our support teams including
\n
\n
Qualifications required
\n
\n
· Project management qualification (Prince 2 or similar)
\n
· Multimedia systems basic design, project delivery and commissioning experience preferable
\n
· Previous experience as a project engineer / manager
\n
· Knowledge of audiovisual systems and videoconferencing technology
\n
· Understanding of operational processes and procedures.
\n
· Strong logistical and resource planning skills
\n
· Working knowledge of basic network design, networking protocols
