A growing civil engineering organization is seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and transportation structure projects across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.

This hybrid opportunity offers $141,000-$170,000 plus bonus potential and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

The role is ideal for a senior bridge engineer transitioning into a larger client-facing project management leadership role while continuing to provide technical oversight on complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead bridge and structural engineering projects from planning through delivery
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and client communication
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to bridge engineering teams
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subconsultants
• Monitor project risks, progress, and financial performance
• Prepare reports, presentations, invoices, and project updates
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationship management
• Mentor and develop engineering staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of bridge and structural design experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Project management experience within bridge or transportation infrastructure
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage client relationships and project delivery

Preferred:

• VDOT experience
• Design-Build or P3 project experience
• Large-scale transportation infrastructure background
• Multidisciplinary team management experience

Compensation & Benefits:
