As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with engineering and platform teams to create scalable infrastructure solutions that power mission-critical applications. Job Description
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting infrastructure systems that are resilient, automated, and cloud-native. You will contribute to server-side application development, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and enterprise-grade backend technologies. The role involves hands-on engineering work as well as collaboration on infrastructure design and solutioning to support high-throughput, high-concurrency systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure solutions in cloud and on-prem environments
- Developing and enhancing server-side applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation for repeatable, secure deployments
- Supporting and optimizing backend technologies including networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, servers, storage, and load balancers
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to support software deployment and operational excellence
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with at least one of the following programming languages:
- Java, .NET Core (C#), Go, C/C++, or Python
- Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language:
- Microsoft PowerShell (Windows) or Bash (Linux)
- Proven experience developing high-performance, high-concurrency server-side applications
- Solid background in infrastructure technologies, including:
- Public cloud platforms, with an emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Core backend systems (networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, servers, storage, load balancers)
- Software deployment and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet)
- 4+ years of infrastructure-focused, project-oriented programming experience
- 2+ years of experience designing or solutioning infrastructure platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale cloud architectures and DevOps practices
- Background supporting highly regulated or security-focused environments
