The Company
Halo Industries, Inc., a pioneer in manufacturing innovation with light-based technologies, seeks a highly skilled
System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our proprietary advancements replace traditional processes
with novel light-based equivalents, offering higher quality, lower cost, and enhanced functionality. As we rapidly
expand our operations, were looking for a team to oversee our prototype systems integration and verification
activities.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is
crucial for the successful integration, testing, and deployment of our cutting-edge laser-based wafer manufacturing
systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems, software
integration, and data analysis, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
● Lead the integration and testing of complex laser-based systems, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and
software components.
● Drive key technical decisions to shape product integration.
● Develop and execute comprehensive integration and test plans, including Test Performance Specifications and
Test Analysis Reports, to verify system performance and reliability.
● Perform detailed system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolve systemic technical problems.
● Develop and implement automation tools for system testing and data acquisition.
● Collect and analyze system performance data, identify trends, and optimize system parameters.
● Generate and present detailed reports and documentation on system integration, testing, and performance.
● Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including assembly and test procedures, user manuals, and
troubleshooting guides.
● Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams (optical, mechanical, software, manufacturing), as well as
effectively communicating with external stakeholders.
● Own issue management and participate in design reviews, providing valuable feedback.
● Mentor and guide integration engineers and technicians.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
● 8+ years of hands-on system integration experience, preferably in semiconductor, laser, or complex precision
system development.
● Demonstrated expertise in assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical systems, including optics, lasers,
motion control, and automation.
● Proficiency with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, JMP).
Preferred Qualifications
● Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, C#, or similar.
● Experience with Industrial automation controllers.
● Experience with laser systems and optical alignment.
● Knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes.
● Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
● Highly analytical and a proactive problem-solver.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Base salary $ 165,000 - $ 185,000
