Role: SAP BTP & CPI Consultant (RAP Specialist)
Location: Bellevue, WA (100% On-site)
Compensation: $65/hr (W2)
Duration: 6+ Months
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level SAP Integration Consultant with deep expertise in the SAP BTP Environment and the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). This role is focused on building end-to-end OData V4 services, integrating S/4HANA with cloud services, and ensuring all developments adhere to "Clean Core" and cloud-ready coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Development & Modeling: Design and deploy applications using SAP RAP (Managed/Unmanaged scenarios), implementing behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, and draft handling.
* OData & UI Integration: Build end-to-end OData V4 services and integrate them with UI frameworks like Fiori Elements.
* Cloud Integration: Integrate BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, CPI, Event Mesh, and Destination Services.
* Clean Core Advocacy: Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues while ensuring compliance with SAP Clean Core and cloud-native principles.
* Version Control: Manage code deployment and changes using gCTS (Git-enabled CTS) or ABAP Git.
* Collaboration: Partner with architects and DevOps teams to design secure, multi-tenant applications on the BTP ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
* BTP/RAP Mastery: Strong expertise in SAP RAP, CDS Views, Annotations, and Metadata Extensions.
* Integration Stack: Proven experience with SAP CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and IAS/IPS.
* Technical Skills: Solid understanding of OData V4 consumption and Fiori Elements.
* Modern ABAP: Experience with gCTS or ABAP Git for version control.
* Cloud Native: Deep understanding of cloud-native principles and deployment strategies on SAP BTP.
