We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support key automotive initiatives in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity requiring onsite collaboration four days per week, where you will guide complex projects from initial planning through deployment and post-launch support. The role calls for a strong communicator who can align business and technical teams, manage delivery risks, and keep milestones on track in a structured, fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Direct end-to-end project execution by establishing scope, timelines, deliverables, resource plans, and governance standards in partnership with business and IT leaders.

• Bring together cross-functional teams, including technical staff, infrastructure, security, testing, vendors, and business stakeholders, to drive accountability and coordinated delivery.

• Maintain detailed project roadmaps and oversee risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, action items, and change requests, escalating critical matters when leadership input is needed.

• Create and present concise status updates that highlight completed work, upcoming targets, schedule condition, open concerns, and decisions requiring management attention.

• Lead meetings such as requirements sessions, design discussions, test reviews, readiness assessments, cutover planning, and stabilization checkpoints while documenting next steps and ownership.

• Oversee testing and deployment readiness by coordinating execution progress, defect review, business approval, go-live preparation, hypercare activities, and handoff to support teams.

• Apply structured change and quality practices to evaluate scope adjustments, measure operational and technical impact, secure approvals, and protect committed outcomes.

• Proven experience managing IT projects with responsibility for scope, scheduling, resource coordination, and milestone delivery.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with business users, technical teams, and external suppliers.
• Experience coordinating project phases such as requirements gathering, design alignment, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Solid understanding of quality practices, defect tracking, and delivery readiness activities within technology projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, drive decisions, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Availability to work onsite in Marysville, Ohio four days per week with limited travel as needed.
