We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Component Test Technician with strong soldering abilities to join our team. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and a steady hand for precision soldering.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional and performance testing on electrical and electronic components.
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate circuit behavior.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Conduct precision soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components (SMT).
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in accordance with quality standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to ESD and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in soldering small components under a microscope.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical testing and soldering in a manufacturing or lab environment.
- IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001 certification is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned manufacturing facility with calm and clean surroundings. The facility specializes in manufacturing and assembling flashing LED lights for first responder vehicles, construction vehicles, farming equipment, and more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
