The Taylors Mill is a 100 year old textile mill that is being redeveloped. There are currently 73 commercial tenants and rising. There is a brewery, restaurant, retro arcade, manufacturing and many other businesses. We're looking for someone with the energy to take on the day to day tasks related to maintaining the large building and grounds.
Job description
- Manage 3-5 maintenance employees and subcontractors
- Prioritize employees maintenance tasks such as repairs, weekly cleaning schedules, grounds maintenance, and new renovation projects
- Divide tasks between yourself and other employees, manage tasks to completion, manage recurring tasks
- Troubleshoot Electrical, HVAC, roofing, flooring & plumbing problems
- Inspect and maintain equipment (forklifts, tractor, scissor lifts, golf carts, power tools)
- On call for fire alarm and building emergencies, rotates between employees. (Can usually be handled by phone, but on occasion a site visit is necessary.)
- Work with property manager and owner to ensure problems are being solved in a timely manner
