Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field.


Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.


Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years of project management experience leading information technology projects, including requesting / securing approval to start projects through project closeout required.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Prior experience with any of the following applications or equivalents: Kronos, Lawson, Cerner, ServiceNow, Tableau, SharePoint, MS Project, MS Visio.
  • Project management background in a hospital or health system IT environment.
  • Experience with all phases of project management, with demonstrated success across a variety of project types (construction, research, infrastructure, clinical applications, business applications, products).
  • Strong background in risk, issue, and dependency management within regulated healthcare settings
  • Hands-on experience working with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders in a provider or payer environment.
  • Experience delivering healthcare technology solutions (e.g., EHR/EMR, clinical applications, integrations, equipment, or enterprise systems).
  • Demonstrated executive-level communication and reporting experience, including status dashboards and steering committee updates.
  • Formal project management methodology experience (PMO standards, SDLC, Agile or hybrid delivery models)


Preferred experience:

  • 10 years of total post-collegiate relevant professional experience.
  • Big 4 Consulting experience.
  • Experience developing business cases.
  • Experience working in a centralized PMO environment.
  • Performance improvement experience in the areas of process / workflow modeling and root cause analysis.
  • Budgeting including general accounting knowledge of Capital versus Operating expenses.
  • Ability to execute in a remote workforce environment; develop relationships and achieve desired outcomes with a remote workforce.
  • Vendor and third-party management experience, including oversight of implementation partners.
