This remote contract role involves leading significant technology modernization initiatives. Responsibilities include managing project planning, procurement, and implementation while aligning with strategic objectives. Extensive experience in project management and technology systems is required. Familiarity with project management software, cloud platforms, and procurement tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with consultants to develop and maintain a modernization roadmap and strategy.
- Assess business needs, technology systems, and organizational readiness.
- Collaborate in developing procurement strategies and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate executive decision-making and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
- Identify resource needs and recommend future staffing and contractor support models.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in project management of large initiatives.
- 10 years of experience in procurement planning.
- 12 years of experience preparing written reports and executive briefings.
- Strong communication skills and experience with executive-level engagement.
- Experience with vendor selection, contract negotiation, and multi-vendor environments.
