You in This Role
You’re not just answering tickets, you’re solving mysteries and helping drone pilots get back in the air. You know your way around a flight controller, can flash firmware in your sleep, and love diving into the technical weeds with other enthusiasts. As our Technical Drone Support Specialist, you bring top-tier FPV knowledge and technical acumen to the front lines of our support experience.
You’ll handle complex questions, troubleshoot gear, and help new and experienced customers navigate builds, firmware, and parts. You'll also support our community across platforms and help shape how we improve the customer experience as we grow.
A Day in the Life
- Respond to customer inquiries via HelpScout, phone, email, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, FPV groups, Discord)
- Troubleshoot technical issues with drones, components, Betaflight, firmware, and systems
- Escalate or log bugs and frequent issues for Engineering/Product teams
- Collaborate with fulfillment to resolve shipping errors, backorders, and RMAs
- Engage with online FPV communities to answer questions and elevate our presence
- Document customer interactions and build technical knowledge bases
- Stay current with drone tech trends and evolving gear across the FPV ecosystem
Requirements
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on FPV drone experience (pilot, builder, or tech)
- Deep knowledge of FPV components and systems: BetaFlight, DJI, ELRS, Crossfire, etc.
- Experience with customer support tools like HelpScout (or similar), including automation and API tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a calm, empathetic communication style
- Experience with eCommerce tools, order tracking, and returns/RMAs
- Comfortable managing a high volume of support requests
- Bonus: Shopify experience, Discord/TikTok community engagement, creating documentation or video tutorials

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000/year (based on experience)
