From the first part you inspect to the last record you complete, your eye for detail keeps our products compliant and customers confident. As a Quality Visual Inspector, you’ll move between drawings, parts, and data—translating GD&T into decisive inspections, executing First Article Inspections (FAI), and upholding AS9100/AS9102 standards.

A day in this role

  • Start strong: Review travelers, work orders, and engineering drawings; interpret GD&T to set acceptance criteria.
  • Inspect meticulously: Perform visual inspections on components and assemblies, document results, and complete FAIs with accuracy and clarity.
  • Strengthen the system: Support and maintain our AS9100 Quality Management System and apply AS9102 for first articles.
  • Fix at the source: Participate in Root Cause Analysis to diagnose defects and help implement effective corrective actions.
  • Measure what matters: When needed, operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), preferably Hexagon, to verify critical dimensions.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct visual inspections of components and assemblies to established quality standards.
  • Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Interpret engineering drawings using GD&T.
  • Engage in Root Cause Analysis to resolve quality issues.
  • Implement and sustain AS9100 quality systems and AS9102 requirements.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (required)
  • Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity (required)
  • Functional senses of sight (not color blind), hearing, and touch (required)
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder (required)

Preferred background

  • Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of GD&T in inspection
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Systems and AS9102 standards
  • Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), ideally Hexagon
