Work with a respected telecommunications company in the Houston area that values quality craftsmanship and reliability. This is a great opportunity for experienced cable installers looking for consistent, full-time work in a professional environment.
Job Highlights:
- Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends as needed)
- Location: Houston, TX area
- Tools: Candidates who have their own tools are preferred
- Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test data, voice, and video cables (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, etc.)
- Route and secure cables in commercial and residential settings
- Read and follow cable layout drawings and schematics
- Perform troubleshooting and ensure signal quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in low-voltage or cable installation
- Must have basic hand tools (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
