Job DescriptionShape a Mission-Critical PLM Platform
Be the technical lead driving Siemens Teamcenter at a privately owned engine manufacturer headquartered in Pontiac, MI. This leadership role is fully on-site and available as a direct hire or contract.
Impact You’ll Drive
- Maintain and evolve Teamcenter core services: workflows, stylesheets, and access control.
- Design and ship monthly build packages that align Teamcenter capability with business priorities.
- Continuously improve business processes by rethinking and optimizing existing workflows.
- Own incident response—diagnose architectural issues and restore service for individual users or larger groups.
- Mentor teammates to spread best practices and raise technical depth across the team.
- Scan the PLM landscape and advise on targeted adoption of new capabilities.
Technical Stack & Experience
- 5+ years of Teamcenter Rich Client, including installation and configuration.
- BMIDE, workflows, stylesheets, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Organization and indexer; adept at end-user support and elevated helpdesk tickets.
- C/C++ ITK development plus scripting and integration using HTML, XML, Windows Batch, PowerShell, Java, and Python.
- Custom reporting solutions leveraging Teamcenter data.
- NX in Managed mode and NX customization experience.
- Administration of Windows and Linux servers.
- Team collaboration using Jira and Bitbucket/Git (or similar).
- Self-starter who anticipates and solves problems proactively.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
