A local growing company in Oklahoma City is looking for a skilled and service-oriented Network Administrator to support and enhance our global IT infrastructure. In this role, you will help ensure IT Operations functions as a highly detail oriented, reliable, and business-aligned service that meets the needs of users across the organization. This position works closely with IT leadership to maintain, support, and improve enterprise network infrastructure, operating systems, hardware, and related technologies. The Network Administrator will also play a key role in high-visibility infrastructure initiatives, including deployments, upgrades, migrations, and standardization efforts across global locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on networking expertise, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and a collaborative, team-first mindset. Strong experience with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking is highly preferred, including administration of Meraki switches, access points, firewalls, and wireless environments across multiple sites. Position will be in-office so the successful candidate will need to live in the Oklahoma City area. This position that will not sponsor -No C2C please.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support global network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Provide strong operational support for Cisco Meraki cloud-managed environments, including monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Meraki switches, access points, security appliances, and dashboards.
  • Manage and maintain firewall hardware and assist with firewall rules, VPN connectivity, and security-related configurations.
  • Oversee IT power systems and help ensure data center and network cooling systems are operating effectively.
  • Respond quickly to outages and service disruptions, restore service, troubleshoot root causes, and document findings.
  • Support domain and workgroup migrations, including integration of acquired businesses into company infrastructure standards.
  • Partner with IT leadership on planning, installation, and deployment of new network and infrastructure hardware solutions.
  • Support security efforts by assisting with cybersecurity tools, physical security systems, and infrastructure protection measures.
  • Research and recommend innovative, efficient, and automated approaches to network and system administration.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed for maintenance windows or critical incidents.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedural guides, and knowledge base content.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Network Engineer or Network Administrator experience supporting enterprise-scale environments with mid-level certifications such as Network+, Security+, MCSA, or similar;
  • 5+ years of relevant enterprise network infrastructure experience in lieu of certifications. Experience supporting multi-site or global network environments.
  • Strong hands-on design experience with switching, wireless, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking is strongly preferred.
