You will craft sophisticated strategies for implementing and upgrading our automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational success. Your role is pivotal in managing multifaceted projects and supporting our global mission through technological advancement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of capital investments focused on evolving automation and control technologies.
• Ensure lifecycle management and troubleshooting of building automation systems, meeting industry and company guidelines.
• Identify and evaluate automation projects, contributing crucial data for strategic decision-making.
• Drive the implementation of efficiency-focused initiatives in automation.
• Provide professional expertise in automation on large-scale projects.
• Support site operational needs by addressing automation challenges swiftly.
• Devise and execute corrective and preventive measures to enhance system reliability.
• Research state-of-the-art technologies and lead training programs for effective deployment.

Expertise Required

• Engineering degree with a focus on control systems, experience is non-negotiable.
• In-depth knowledge of low voltage controls and interfacing technologies.
• Proficient in PLC programming languages, with RSLogix expertise notable.
• HMI/SCADA proficiency is necessary, FactoryTalk View experience is beneficial.
• SolidWorks proficiency for mechanical design methods is preferred.
• Familiarity with building automation platforms like Siemens Insight is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by strong project management abilities.
