Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (ReactJS)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (ReactJS) with strong expertise in frontend development and accessibility standards. This role requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality, and accessible web applications within a B2B SaaS healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering solutions while ensuring compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development (Primary Focus)
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Implement modern React concepts including Hooks, Context API, Redux (Saga, Thunk, RTK).
- Work with useQuery and useMutation APIs for data handling.
- Ensure high performance, reusable components, and clean code practices.
Accessibility & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards across all applications.
- Set best practices and standards for building accessible user interfaces.
Full-Stack & Integration
- Contribute to backend development using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Work with Web Services (SOAP/WSDL), JMS, Spring Framework, and SQL.
- Support system integrations, data migrations, and complex data transformations.
Design & Development Leadership
- Participate in solution architecture, design discussions, and whiteboarding sessions.
- Lead code reviews, design reviews, and task breakdowns.
- Ensure adherence to design patterns and enterprise integration patterns.
Testing & Deployment
- Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library (RTL) and JUnit.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version control with Bitbucket.
- Support release management, bug triaging, and UAT/production readiness activities.
Collaboration & Support
- Work in an Agile environment collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Support UAT and production deployments, including data loads and issue resolution.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients to deliver optimal technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in React.js, TypeScript, and Redux ecosystem.
- Strong expertise in React Hooks, Context API, and state management.
- Hands-on experience with React Testing Library (RTL).
- Proven experience implementing Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience in Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring and Web Services.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis and database design.
- Experience working in Linux environments and WebLogic Application Server.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Bitbucket).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Healthcare or B2B SaaS domain.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (messaging, routing, transformation).
- Exposure to data migration and system integration projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
