About the Role

rovides program-level architectural leadership to ensure all WCSM technology solutions align with business objectives, enterprise governance, and statewide IT standards. Maintains the overarching enterprise architecture across applications, data, infrastructure, integrations, security services, and business processes, ensuring long-term sustainability of the WCSM ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Define architectural principles, governance expectations, and reference models that support program goals.
- Ensure all design decisions incorporate security, privacy, and risk-management requirements.
- Evaluate technology options to identify redundancies, gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities.
- Drive cross-team alignment and communication across vendors, WaTech, and L&I technical groups.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, demonstrations, and architectural checkpoints.
- Oversee documentation completeness, including integration diagrams, configuration details, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), runbooks, and lifecycle materials.
- Align architectural decisions with RCWs, WACs, WaTech cybersecurity policies, and statewide.
