Job Title: QC Informatics Scientist

Location: Concord, NC (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $35–37/hour

Contract Length: 6-month contract with possibility of extension

Start Date: ASAP


Position Overview

The QC Informatics Scientist is responsible for supporting Quality Control operations through the creation, verification, and maintenance of master data and system configurations across key laboratory systems, including LabVantage LIMS and MODA LES. This role also supports non-terminal record monitoring activities and the development of electronic laboratory documentation for non-routine testing.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, and compliance within a regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform master data creation and verification within LabVantage LIMS, including specifications, sampling plans, flavor management, product variants, and storage records
  • Support site deployment activities and system upgrades for LabVantage LIMS
  • Create and verify master data within MODA LES, specifically for environmental monitoring and utilities testing methods and sampling plans
  • Develop NuGenesis ELN document templates to support non-routine testing activities
  • Conduct non-terminal record monitoring to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
  • Review system audit trails and support investigation of any discrepancies identified


Qualifications

  • Experience working with laboratory systems such as LabVantage LIMS, MODA LES, and/or NuGenesis ELN
  • Strong understanding of data integrity and quality systems within a regulated environment (GMP preferred)
  • Experience with master data creation, verification, and system configuration
  • Ability to support audits, review audit trails, and investigate discrepancies
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
