Our client is looking for an experienced, career-oriented Configuration Management Analyst (CMA) to support the ongoing needs of a federal government client.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing IT applications for process improvement and reengineering business processes to include activity and data modeling, business method improvements, and transition planning for new IT processes
- Active Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- The CMA will be instrumental in administering and developing the client's configuration management program, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement

- Support and coordinate junior-level configuration management activities across multiple project teams
- Maintain and update change records, logs, documentation, meeting materials, and action item trackers
- Monitor and track Software Change Requests (SCRs) and Software Change Proposals (SCPs)
- Manage configuration items and identification logs
- Perform audits, assessments, and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) health checks
- Document configuration management processes and procedures
- Prepare and analyze CM metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program effectiveness
- Update and maintain CM SharePoint sites and document libraries
- Respond to data calls, participate in meetings, and provide status reporting
- Coordinate property and inventory tracking related to configuration items
