We are recruiting for a Regulatory Data Coordinator. This is a 6-month temporary position with the potential to become a full-time role.
The schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During the first two - four weeks, the individual will be required to work in the office five days per week. Afterward, they may transition to a hybrid schedule consisting of three days in the office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and one additional consistent day of their choice.
The hourly pay is $32.00 an hour
The hiring manager is seeking someone with laboratory experience who understands chemicals and chemical-handling environments. The ideal candidate will also be organized, self-directed, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
SUMMARY
The Regulatory Data Coordinator supports regulatory activities by maintaining accurate product, supplier, and regulatory data, organizing documentation, and assisting with compliance projects. This role helps ensure product information remains accurate and current while supporting internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory compliance activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory, product, supplier, and packaging data in company systems.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), including updates, revisions, distribution, and document control.
• Organize and maintain regulatory documents, templates, and records.
• Enter and maintain product, packaging, and regulatory information in ERP and SDS systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain missing or incomplete regulatory information.
• Maintain sustainability (ESG) data for reporting and related initiatives.
• Request, track, and maintain supplier Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and regulatory documentation.
• Support regulatory projects, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Proposition 65, and similar initiatives.
• Assist with bill of material (BOM) setup and maintenance within regulatory systems.
• Maintain tracking logs, spreadsheets, and documentation supporting regulatory activities and requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and document organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in a chemical laboratory, regulatory, environmental health and safety (EHS), or related technical environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and data management systems.
• Experience using Lisam SDS software or other SDS authoring software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. and meeting deadlines.
