The Role
We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead nonprofit ERP implementations from kickoff through go-live and transition to support. You will own delivery for a portfolio of client engagements, set the standard for how projects run, and protect both client trust and team health along the way.
This is a senior delivery role. You run the plan, the governance, and the client relationship. You solve problems at the root and build repeatable practices the rest of the team can adopt. You are the calm, credible presence clients rely on when the work gets complex.
What You'll Do
- Own delivery. Lead multiple concurrent Sage Intacct and ERP implementations, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client outcomes.
- Run disciplined project governance. Maintain the project charter, plan, RAID log, status reporting, and change control so nothing important is a surprise.
- Lead the client relationship. Be the primary point of contact for client sponsors and finance leaders. Set expectations clearly and keep communication honest and steady.
- Manage scope and change. Identify change early, quantify impact, and secure decisions before work drifts. No silent scope creep.
- Drive change management. Plan and guide client adoption so new systems are used, not just installed. Apply structured change management (Prosci) throughout.
- See risk early. Surface risks and issues before they escalate, and drive them to resolution with a permanent fix rather than a workaround.
- Coordinate the team. Direct consultants and cross-practice partners across Professional Services, Support, and Data, and keep everyone aligned on priorities.
- Deliver a clean handoff. Run go-live readiness, project closure, and transition to support so clients feel supported after go-live, not dropped.
- Strengthen the operating model. Contribute to PMO standards, templates, and lessons learned so every project runs better than the last.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years leading software or ERP implementations for external clients.
- A track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget.
- Strong command of project management discipline: planning, budgeting, risk, change control, and status reporting.
- Excellent client communication. You are clear, calm, and credible with finance and executive stakeholders.
- Comfort with financial systems and accounting concepts. You can hold your own in a conversation about the general ledger, close, and reporting.
- A problem-solver who fixes root causes and builds repeatable practices, not one-time patches.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
Certifications and Credentials
- PMP — Project Management Professional (PMI) Required.
- Prosci Change Management Certification Strongly preferred.
- PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Preferred.
- Sage Intacct Implementation certifications Preferred.
- PgMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or CPA Strongly Preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Sage Intacct implementation experience.
- Experience serving nonprofit organizations and an understanding of fund accounting and grant reporting.
- Experience in a consulting or professional services delivery environment.
- Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, and modern reporting platforms.

Salary $115,000-145,000 DOE
