Job DescriptionFinance Systems Business Analyst| $45-$55/hr. | Omaha, NE |Hybrid | Contract-to-Hire (Local Candidates within 150 miles preferred)
Help Build the Future of FinanceBring your Finance knowledge and business analysis skills to a highly visible transformation initiative. You’ll work directly with Finance stakeholders to uncover how data and systems work today, document what’s needed tomorrow, and help create the roadmap for a more connected and efficient Finance environment.What You’ll Do:
- Interview Finance and business teams to uncover processes, systems, data needs, and pain points
- Map how financial data moves between systems and document key connections and dependencies
- Turn stakeholder conversations into clear requirements, process maps, data inventories, and usable documentation
- Partner across Finance and Technology to validate findings and identify gaps or risks
- Help establish the foundation for future system improvements, implementations, and Finance transformation initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3–5 years of business analysis, financial systems, or Finance-related experience
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and process/data mapping
- Solid understanding of core accounting processes such as GL, AP/AR, close, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL knowledge preferred
- Systems implementation, ERP, or transformation experience strongly preferred
