Ideal Candidate Profile:
We're looking for one of the following:
- A former bench/research scientist who has transitioned into a project or program management role, and can speak fluently to both the science and PM fundamentals; or

Either path should demonstrate strong team leadership, cross-functional coordination, timeline/resource management, and governance reporting experience.

- Organize project management support across functional areas; attend sub-team meetings; stand up ad hoc working groups as needed
- Ensure Development Plans integrate timing, scope, and resources across the program
- Identify project risks and issues; propose and implement corrective action plans
- Manage project data and timelines in G.Plan (Planisware); align and validate data with other project managers
- Author sections of Project Team documents as needed
- Organize preparation of high-quality documents for governance committee review, in partnership with the project team; support the Development Project Team (or Program Strategy Team) at governance meetings
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a BS in a science field; OR
- 8+ years of relevant experience with an MS or MBA; OR
- 4+ years of relevant experience with a PhD in a scientific field, PharmD, DVM, or MD
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-functional drug development project management
- Demonstrated experience managing project teams through clinical development stages (preclinical through early/late-phase clinical preferred)
- Prior bench/research science experience or deep, demonstrated drug development/clinical process expertise
- Immunology, virology, or infectious disease background a strong plus given the therapeutic area
- Experience managing multiple concurrent project teams preferred
- Must be local to the Foster City, CA area and able to work onsite Tuesday–Thursday
