Job Summary:
Kilowatt, Inc. is seeking Tower Technicians to perform telecommunications tower work, including climbing, rigging and operating equipment. This position involves outdoor work in various weather condtions and travel to job sites, typically for one to two weeks at a time. Employees are generally home most holidays and weekends.
Starting pay is $25 per hour for no experience. Experienced Tower Technicians and/or Crew Leads can earn up to $40 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and job requirements. No prior tower experience is required, although previous experience in tower work, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred.
Employees are paid a $40 per diem for each overnight stay while traveling for work. Company-paid lodging is also provided.
Job Duties:
- Climb telecommunication towers and perform work at elevated heights and on the ground in various weather conditions.
- Use hand tools, rigging, and other equipment to complete tower related tasks.
- Follow instructions, adhere to safety procedures, and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
