Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are seeking a Project Manager for a client in the construction and infrastructure industry.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Texas-based Project Manager to lead infrastructure construction projects from planning through closeout. This role will coordinate project teams, manage schedules and budgets, and work closely with clients and field leadership to deliver safe, high-quality work.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in infrastructure construction and the ability to take ownership of project execution. Electrical construction and data center experience are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project execution, including schedules, budgets, quality, and closeout.
- Coordinate with field teams, engineering, subcontractors, and clients to keep work on track.
- Track costs, prepare forecasts, manage change orders, and maintain project documentation.
- Support estimating, procurement, contract administration, and project planning.
- Identify project risks and work with the team to resolve issues before they affect delivery.
- Communicate project progress and priorities to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability across project teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in infrastructure.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and change orders.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Electrical infrastructure or data center construction experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera or similar scheduling software preferred.
- Ability to visit project sites as needed.
