Senior ServiceNow System Administrator – Plano, TX
Location: Plano, TX
Pay: $44.82/hr W-2
Schedule: 50 hrs/week
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise ServiceNow environment in the Telecom industry. This role will lead platform administration, governance, production support, technical troubleshooting, and the transition of platform ownership from a System Integrator to the internal team.
The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on ServiceNow administrator who can also provide technical leadership and mentor ITSM professionals transitioning from Remedy to ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support an enterprise ServiceNow production environment.
- Lead platform governance, technical reviews, and steering meetings.
- Partner with leadership on ServiceNow strategy, roadmap, security, and best practices.
- Manage configurations, users, access, releases, upgrades, and production issues.
- Troubleshoot and modify JavaScript/GlideScript, workflows, integrations, and custom applications.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Develop workflow automation and support ServiceNow integrations.
- Mentor and train technical team members transitioning from Remedy.
- Monitor ticket trends, SLA performance, and platform health.
- Partner with Telecom, IT, and business teams on requirements and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow System Administration experience.
- Enterprise-scale ServiceNow experience.
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications — Required.
- Strong JavaScript/GlideScript experience.
- Experience with REST/SOAP, APIs, workflows, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow configuration and database relationships.
- Experience with platform governance and technical leadership.
