Job Description:
- We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Contract) for a hands‐on, onsite role.
- MINIMUM 12 to 16+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED WITH INVESTMENT BANKING
- This position focuses on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing Snowflake data models, and delivering regulatory and financial data solutions.
The contractor will collaborate with Finance, Reg teams to support:
- Regulatory reporting (SEC 15c3‐1 and 15c3‐3)
- Financial reconciliations and FP&A data integration
- Data‐driven dashboards and user interfaces
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build ETL pipelines and Snowflake data models
- Support regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Develop dashboards and reporting UIs for business and regulatory users
- Ensure data quality, controls, and performance
- Support audits and regulatory exams with data lineage and documentation
Technical Requirements
Required
- Oracle SQL / PL‐SQL (strong hands‐on)
- Python, Snowflake, Unix/Linux
- ETL and data pipeline development experience
Plus
- Experience with SEC 15c3 reporting and FOCUS reports
- Axiom Regulatory Reporting experience or familiarity
- BI tools such as Qlik or Sigma Computing
