About Us
Independent Restoration Services is a property restoration company serving homeowners across Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties. We handle water, fire, and mold damage to IICRC standards, document every job thoroughly, and treat every home like it's our own. We're small enough that you'll have direct access to the owner and real say in how jobs get run, and the standard you hold on-site becomes the standard the whole company runs on.
The Role
You'll own field operations end-to-end — quality, safety, and professionalism on every job, from first inspection through final walkthrough. This is a leadership role with real accountability, not a clock-in, clock-out job.
What You'll Do
● Lead field operations on fire, water, and mold jobs from inspection to final walkthrough
● Scope losses, classify water damage, and oversee drying equipment placement
● Train subcontractors and new hires on tools, safety, and company standards
● Hold your crew to the standard: straight cuts, shoe covers, leave it cleaner than you found it
● Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and adjusters on-site
● Manage scheduling, timelines, budgets, and documentation, coordinating directly with ownership
What We're Looking For
● 3+ years of hands-on experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade — required
● Proven ability to lead and hold a crew accountable without losing their respect
● Detail-oriented, professional, and composed under pressure
● Valid driver's license with a clean record
● IICRC certification a plus — we'll get you there after 6 months if you don't have it
Pay & Benefits
● $68,000 – $80,000/yr, paid weekly, depending on experience
● 10% referral fee on jobs sourced outside company lead generation
● 2 weeks paid time off; take-home company vehicle after 6 months
● Company-paid IICRC WRT certification after 6 months
