Cleared Software Engineer - Java
Summary
Join a high performing Agile team supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. This role offers the opportunity to build, enhance, and modernize backend services while working with modern technologies including Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving system performance and reliability, and collaborating with a team focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
Required
- 6+ years of software development/engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Java development.
- Experience with Spring Boot backend services.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience with Docker/containerized environments.
- Experience troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and implementing application enhancements.
- Experience maintaining and updating software libraries and dependencies.
- Experience with framework and code-level changes.
- Ability to support deployments and production/release activities.
- Ability to participate in Agile planning and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle databases.
- Experience with Maven.
- Experience with Git and GitLab.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and mission-critical systems.
- Experience modernizing existing backend services and applications.
*Salary Range: $ 150,000 - 230,000
