Job Description

Job DescriptionAbout the role

Picture your day starting on the production floor—moving from station to station, running in-process product checks and auditing the line to ensure every step meets the mark. Mid-morning, you pivot to documentation: comparing Work Instructions, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and PFMEAs against practice to confirm they align and are being followed. When warranty returns arrive, you roll up your sleeves to uncover true root causes and turn your findings into clear, actionable reports.

As issues surface from line inspections, you troubleshoot failed units and verify assembly/build procedures are executed correctly. You keep our metrology program sharp by confirming precision measuring devices and qualifying gauges are in good working order and calibrated at the correct frequency. In the lab, you perform sediment testing on product and carry out titration evaluations of washers. Throughout it all, you uphold company policies and the requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001, and you promptly report any sub‑standard quality to the Quality Manager. Additional duties will be assigned as needed.

You bring

  • Hands-on Quality Control experience and working knowledge of ISO certification practices
  • Background in manufacturing and a strong mechanical foundation
  • Working knowledge of torque converters and/or transfer cases
  • Formal training or on-the-job experience with ISO 9001 and IATF
  • Proficiency in quality inspection, PFMEA, and ISO 9001 implementation or compliance
