Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of electrical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring all phases from design through to installation are completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and scope of work, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
- Ensure adherence to local codes, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and resolve any project-related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, milestones, and any potential delays.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Coordinate and work closely with the Pre-Construction/Pre-Fabrication department on all projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, design, and installation processes.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and codes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with small and large-scale electrical projects.
- Knowledge of the electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70, NFPA 70E).
