We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience supporting all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle in complex Federal Government environments. The candidate must have strong experience analyzing user requirements, developing system architectures, and leading design and integration activities. This includes the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, engineering deliverables, and drawing packages as required.


The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and prepared to work with a small, mission-focused team that frequently collaborates with other teams, users, and customers. This role regularly communicates with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives and is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of all assigned work and deliverables in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288.


Education/Experience:

Fourteen (14) years of experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading systems engineering efforts is required. Five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.


Salary: $160,000-$180,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.

Strong systems engineering experience to include requirements analysis and technical documentation
Hardware and software integration
Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
Experience with Visio or other drawing applications
Basic system administration
Ability to analyze CONOPS and system architectures to develop system requirements
Strong communication skills for interaction with government and senior leadership

Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices
Familiarity with Ansible and scripting
Experience developing system engineering management and integration/test plans
Experience supporting classified IC/DoD programs
