About the Position

Remote, based in Pittsburgh, PA | Reports to: Regional Field Service Manager

What You’ll Tackle

• Field diagnostics and repairs on: articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
• Scheduled services: quarterly preventive maintenance, Annual DOT inspections, and warranty work.
• Urgent response: troubleshoot and fix unplanned breakdowns during and after normal hours.
• Communication: brief job site leaders and fleet managers on findings, options, and next steps.
• Documentation: produce timely estimates, obtain work authorizations, order and log parts, and capture labor and inventory data.
• Safety & compliance: follow all state and federal safety requirements on every job.
• Professionalism: maintain a clean, organized service vehicle, tools, and work areas.

What You’ll Need

• Expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; strong diagnostics; welding capability.
• Physical readiness for outdoor work in all weather; able to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 75+ lbs for extended durations.
• 3 years’ experience or formal training—preferably with articulating cranes and forklifts.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
• CDL in hand or earned within 60 days of start.
• Own core tools (PALFINGER proprietary tools provided).
