Position Overview

We are seeking a IT professional with strong PC support experience who enjoys working directly with end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is 100% onsite and is responsible for keeping production and office technology running efficiently by providing hardware, software, and troubleshooting support across the facility.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Windows workstations, printers, mobile devices, and end users in a large-scale environment and is comfortable walking the floor, responding to technical issues, and working closely with both production and office personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite desktop and end-user support for production and office environments.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows 10 workstations and perform system imaging and hardware upgrades as needed.
  • Assist users with PCs, printers, phones, scanners, and RF/mobile devices.
  • Provide break/fix support for desktops, network-connected devices, and basic infrastructure issues.
  • Support industrial and office printing environments.
  • Create, manage, and maintain Active Directory user accounts and access permissions.
  • Reset and troubleshoot wireless access points when required.
  • Track hardware inventory, asset management, and e-waste disposal processes.
  • Escalate complex infrastructure issues while partnering with network and server teams.
  • Perform additional technical support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Desktop Support, PC Support, Help Desk, IT Support, or Field Support.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving desktop hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience working in an enterprise or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, and wireless connectivity.
  • Experience with Active Directory account management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, 5 days per week, supporting users throughout a manufacturing facility. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with production employees, office personnel, and leadership while responding to technical issues in real time.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, crawl, and work in confined areas.
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders to support wireless access points and other infrastructure equipment.
  • Ability to climb fixed ladders up to 20–25 feet while carrying equipment when necessary.
  • Ability to work throughout a large manufacturing facility and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tipp City, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
