Position Overview
\n
The company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who has developed a strong foundation as a Project Engineer and is ready to take on greater ownership of project coordination, financial management, and client communication.

\n
Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, you'll play a key role in delivering successful projects while continuing to grow into a Project Manager position.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Assist in managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
- Support project scheduling, procurement, and buyout activities
- Track budgets, change orders, and project costs
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
- Support quality control, safety compliance, and project closeout
- Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget

Requirements
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2–5 years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor
- Experience supporting or managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a plus
- Desire to continue growing into a Project Manager role
