Lead Informatica Data Engineer
W2 Contract
Hybrid (3 days in office 2 days remote)
Pittsburgh, PA
Job Summary:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within a hybrid work environment. The candidate will lead technical efforts in ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, optimize data workflows, and provide guidance to development teams in an enterprise financial services context.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize data workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, PL/SQL, MSSQL, and Teradata
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Lead technical specification development, coding, testing, and troubleshooting of data pipelines
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex platform issues
• Develop and maintain documentation of data architecture, ETL processes, and performance metrics
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Informatica PowerCenter
• MSSQL, Teradata, Oracle
• SQL, PL/SQL
• Data warehousing principles and ETL design
• Code deployment tools (UDeploy, Artifactory, GitHub)
• Agile environment experience
• Expertise in optimizing data workflows and performance tuning
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
• Financial services domain knowledge or customer profitability analysis
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
