BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm. We are engaged on Project Executive searches with general contractors and construction managers in New York City.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A portfolio rather than a project. The Project Executive reports to ownership, carries profit and loss across several jobs at once, and holds the client relationships the firm's repeat work rests on.
THE ROLE
Project managers and superintendents report to you, and the financial result of their work is yours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Several projects at once, directed through the project managers and superintendents assigned to you
- Profit and loss across the portfolio
- The client relationships, and the repeat work that follows them
- Pursuits: interviews, fee strategy, and the preconstruction work behind them
- What the project teams escalate, with owners, design teams and subcontractors
- Hiring for your own teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Twelve or more years, several of them carrying a portfolio rather than one project
- New York City construction experience
- Clients who came back
- Ground up or major renovation, in commercial, institutional or residential work
COMPENSATION
Base of $200,000 to $260,000. Bonus and profit participation vary between firms at this level.
