POSITION : SAP FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

LOCATION : SANTA CLARA, CA - LOCAL TO SF BAY AREA

We are seeking an experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to support a large-scale procurement and finance transformation for a global technology company. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, Ariba, and S/4HANA with deep understanding of P2P business processes and system integration across Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable functions.

Responsibilities

Lead and support end-to-end P2P process design, configuration, and implementation within SAP.
Configure and enhance SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification) and Ariba modules.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and AP teams to streamline requisitions, purchase orders, GR/IR, and invoicing processes.
Work on integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems.
Analyze business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements.
Support UAT, training, and post-go-live stabilization.
Provide expertise in supplier management, catalog management, and compliance workflows.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant specializing in P2P / MM / Ariba.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, and Accounts Payable processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and S/4HANA or ECC.
Experience integrating SAP with 3rd-party procurement or finance tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Prior experience in high-tech, manufacturing, or enterprise IT environments preferred.
SAP MM or Ariba certification is a plus.
