The Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join an enterprise technology team undergoing a major infrastructure modernization initiative.
\n
\n
Our client is in the process of migrating its on-premises VMware environment to Microsoft Azure and needs a strong, hands-on engineer to help plan and execute the migration while supporting its existing infrastructure.
\n
\n
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in enterprise systems engineering, virtualization, and data center infrastructure, along with significant experience working in Azure. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys complex technical challenges and wants to be involved in a large-scale cloud transformation.
\n
\n
The work doesn't end with the migration. You'll continue supporting and optimizing an environment that spans Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
\n
\n
- \n
- Plan and execute the migration of approximately 300 virtual machines from VMware to Azure.
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure throughout the transition.
- Deploy, configure, and support Azure compute, storage, and infrastructure services.
- Support existing Azure and AWS environments.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and related enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Work with infrastructure, networking, application, and security teams on migration activities.
- Improve monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation.

What We're Looking For:
\n
\n
- \n
- Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience migrating on-premises infrastructure or VMware workloads into Azure.
- Deep VMware administration and virtualization experience.
- Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, or data center operations.
- Experience supporting AWS infrastructure.
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
