About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support mid-size utility, construction, and infrastructure projects within an assigned region or division. The Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, coordinating relevant project data, and tracking progress to ensure projects remain on schedule.
\n
This position will work closely with project teams, operations, customers, and other stakeholders to support effective planning, scheduling, reporting, and project controls while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
\n
Develop, maintain, and revise resource and cost-loaded construction or installation schedules.
\n
Monitor project progress and provide regular schedule status reporting.
\n
Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule risks and delays.
\n
Develop recovery plans, what-if scenarios, and schedule alternatives when required.
\n
Collect and coordinate project data from internal and external stakeholders.
\n
Establish and follow project scheduling guidelines, procedures, and controls.
\n
Differentiate between contractor and customer-driven schedule impacts.
\n
Ensure compliance with established project management and scheduling standards.
\n
Interface with Project Managers, Operations, customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on planning and scheduling requirements.
\n
Support progress reporting and project performance reviews.
\n
Communicate effectively with operations teams to ensure schedules are completed accurately and projects remain on track.
\n
Identify potential issues and provide scheduling recommendations to support successful project delivery.
\n

Qualifications:
\n
4+ years of relevant scheduling experience, preferably within utility, construction, or infrastructure projects.
\n
Experience working within the utility industry, preferably supporting electrical construction or infrastructure projects.
\n
Experience with resource-loaded scheduling and linear scheduling software.
\n
Strong understanding of construction processes and relevant industry practices.
\n
Strong experience with Primavera P6 or comparable critical path scheduling software.
\n
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
\n
Strong analytical and moderately complex problem-solving skills.
\n
Ability to interpret project data and identify schedule impacts and risks.
\n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
Formal project management training or coursework preferred.
\n
Willingness and ability to work on-site when required based on project needs.
\n

Education:
\n
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
