Role- AIX Administrator

Location- Columbus, OH (On-site)
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
Install, configure, and administer IBM AIX servers
\n
Perform system upgrades, patching, and OS maintenance
\n
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
\n
Manage LPARs, VIOS, PowerVM, and IBM Power Systems
\n
Configure storage, filesystems, user accounts, and security policies
\n
Automate administrative tasks using Shell/Korn scripting
\n
Work with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
\n
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, and application teams
\n
\n
Required Skills:
\n
5+ years of hands-on IBM AIX Administration experience
\n
Strong knowledge of IBM Power Systems, PowerVM, VIOS, and LPAR management
\n
Experience with Shell/Korn scripting
\n
Expertise in system performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting
\n
Familiarity with SAN Storage, NIM, HACMP/PowerHA, and backup solutions
\n
Understanding of Linux/UNIX administration is a plus
\n
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
