Job Title: Laboratory Quality Systems Technician
Primary Location: Midland MI 48642
15-month contract - On-site role
Monday - Friday - 8 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay rate: $41/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains specifications in SAP SRR (Specification and Recipe Repository) for all Shelter product lines for new product launches, formulation changes, updates to specifications, and addition of new producing and warehouse locations.
- Creates and maintains quality data set-up in SAP QM (quality module) which includes inspection plans, COA profiles, etc.
- Participates in the Change Management Tool (CMT) MOC process for set-up and changes to specifications and quality data in SAP.
- Escalates unresolved specification MOC issues to the appropriate contact.
- Provides first level troubleshooting support for business users for SAP QM issues.
- Provides first level troubleshooting for LIMS (laboratory information management system) systems and other quality systems software interfaced with SAP.
- Supports use and maintenance of analytical testing equipment in business QQ labs.
- Supports new QC test method implementation and troubleshooting.
- Ensures QC test documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitors SFDC customer complaint status and escalates lagging responses.
- Analyzes and prepares reports on SFDC complaint data and trends.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience and strong knowledge working in SAP QM systems is a requirement.
- SAP SRR experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Sample Manager LIMS software preferred.
- Experience running reports and analyzing data from systems such as SFDC (Salesforce.com) preferred.
- Knowledge of QC lab analytical techniques and testing preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience working cross functionally and with manufacturing plants and labs.
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
